I received my Master's of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine in 2020, where I received a 4.0 GPA. I received my undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in 2016, where I majored in Kinesiology and minored in Psychology.
Experience
While earning my graduate degree, my neuroscience professor recommended me to become a university course tutor based on academic performance. I conducted group tutoring and individual tutoring sessions for lecture and cadaver lab content for two terms. I thoroughly enjoy neuroscience and neuroanatomy and want to specialize in neurorehabilitation in my career. I have relevant clinical experience working in a top-rated neurorehabilitation hospital specializing in brain injury and stroke rehab. Continuing to tutor students in these areas will help me keep the knowledge fresh for myself and hopefully instill the same passion in others! Although I am most passionate about neuroscience, I also have experience tutoring other subjects, including anatomy, writing and editing, and elementary and middle school level subjects. Maintaining a 4.0 GPA through my graduate program, I learned many study techniques and created study plans for myself and my classmates.
