Hobbies

Outside of science I spend plenty of time studying philosophy, languages, film and art. In order to get a complete view of the world around you (and to be a dynamic thinker), one needs to explore as many avenues as are available. In addition to my intellectual pursuits, I spent four years studying gymnastics, I played (and still watch) football, and enjoy a physically challenging run. But I should also add that to me science is more than a career or a means-to-an-end. I thoroughly enjoy learning more about the natural world (as it is always full of surprises) and listening to other scientists, especially the late Richard Feynman, speak about their passion for it is truly exciting. I hope that I can pass along my passion as well.
